(KIDS MIND ) : Nokia’s big lesson, The marvellous magic ✨ of listening πŸŽ§

Hello, My awesome friends!

Have you ever felt really important, like nothing could happen without you? It’s a special feeling, isn’t it? Well, this is how Nokia, a company that used to make phones, felt too. Let’s learn all about it!

Nokia was a super famous company that made phones. People all over the world loved Nokia phones. They were strong, easy to use, and lots of fun. Everyone thought Nokia was the best!

But then, something unexpected happened. New companies started making even better phones. These phones could do lots of things that Nokia’s phones couldn’t do. People started to like these new phones more than the old Nokia ones.

Just like us sometimes, Nokia thought it was the best and didn’t need to change. They didn’t work on making their phones better, and they didn’t listen to what people wanted. This made things go really bad for Nokia. People stopped buying their phones, and the company became less and less important.

Imagine you have this super cool toy, and you always play with it the same way. But one day, your friend shows you a new way to play with it, and it turns out to be even more fun! Just like your toy, Nokia didn’t listen when people wanted new and cool features in their phones. They thought their old way was the best, just like when we don’t listen to our parents, friends, or teachers.

When we don’t listen, we might miss out on really great things. Parents, friends, and teachers want what’s best for us, just like people who wanted the best for Nokia. If we don’t listen, we might miss out on their great ideas and advice, just like Nokia missed out on good ideas for their phones.

Nokia’s story teaches us that it’s really important to listen. Imagine if Nokia had listened and made new and amazing phones just like people wanted. They would still be popular today! When we listen, we learn new things, and we can be even better at the things we like to do.

So, my wonderful friends, let’s not be like Nokia. Let’s listen to the people who care about us. They want us to be happy and successful, just like people wanted Nokia to be successful. When we listen, we grow and become even more awesome!

Question Time!

  1. Why do you think it’s important for companies, like Nokia, to keep learning and trying new things?
  2. Can you tell me about a time when you felt really important, just like Nokia did?
  3. How can we use Nokia’s story to think about how we can keep learning and growing, just like we do in school?
  4. Imagine if Nokia listened to what people wanted. How do you think their phones would be different today?
  5. Can you find an example from your own life when you had to change and try something new, just like Nokia could have done?
  6. Can you think of a time when you didn’t listen to someone, and you missed out on something really cool?
  7. Can you tell me about a time when you listened and learned something new that made you really happy?

In the end, Nokia’s story reminds us that it’s important to keep learning and growing, just like we do in school. Even when we feel very important, there’s always something new we can learn or try. Just like Nokia, we can always find ways to do better and grow bigger!

Let’s be great listeners and have super fun adventures together!
